Cookies and external content

The operator of straze.sk is Newcom 1, s.r.o., company registration number 44 608 284, with its registered office at Stráž 223, 960 01 Zvolen, Slovakia. You can send questions about privacy and cookies to privacy@spolupraca.online or to the company’s postal address. This page explains how we store your choice and use the embedded Google map.

What this website uses

This website provides information about the Stráže office building. We do not use analytics or advertising tools. Photographs, the logo, font and website files are served by our own website. The optional external content is an embedded map provided by Google.

Remembering your choice

When you accept or reject optional content, or save a selection, we store your choice in your browser’s local storage under the name straze.privacy-choice. The record contains the settings version, whether the map is allowed, the time it was saved and its expiry time. It contains no visitor identifier, name or IP address. We use this record only to respect your choice.

Your choice is valid for 6 months after it is saved and is shared by the Slovak and English versions on the same website. After expiry we ask again and do not load the map without renewed permission. You can also clear the choice by removing this website’s data in your browser. If the browser blocks storage, your selection applies only to the current page.

Optional Google map

The embedded Google map is disabled by default. It loads only after you choose “Accept all”, or enable “External content — Google Maps” and save your selection. Rejecting it still lets you use the rest of the website, including the gallery, address and map links.

Once enabled, your browser connects to Google’s servers. Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser information, and may use cookies or similar technologies to operate its service and for other purposes described in its policies. The technologies used by Google and their retention can vary depending on your browser, whether you are signed in to Google and your Google settings; this website does not determine them.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and information about cookies for details (links open in a new window).

Changing or withdrawing permission

“Cookie settings” is available in the footer of every page. Disable the map by choosing “Reject optional”, or turn off Google Maps and save your selection. We immediately remove the embedded map and do not load it again without renewed permission. The change is also applied to other open tabs of this website that share the same browser storage.

Withdrawing permission does not delete cookies already stored by Google for its own domains or recall data it has already received. You can remove those cookies in your browser settings and manage your Google preferences directly with Google.

Map links

“Open map” and “Get directions” remain available without enabling the embedded map. Opening them takes you to Google’s separate website, where that service’s policies apply.
